In honor of first responders and essential workers, the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels and the U.S. Air Force's Thunderbirds will make a flyover in Atlanta on Saturday afternoon.

The formation flight will begin flying over the city on Saturday at 2:30pm and will last for about 20 minutes. People in the flight path will hear jet noise as the 12 aircraft fly over the area.

The coordinators have asked not to gather groups or at landmarks to watch the flyover. Instead watch from your home.

You can share your experience on social media using #AmericaStrong and #InThisTogether and by tagging @AFThunderbirds and @BlueAngels.

The two squadrons did a flyover in NYC this weekend and will be heading to Baltimore and Washington DC before making their way to Atlanta on Saturday.
