Georgia Gov Kemp Signs Statewide Shelter in Place Order Starts Friday at 6p

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has signed statewide Shelter in Place which will go into effect on Friday at 6pm. He also announced yesterday he is extending school closures through the end of the school year.

The order will run through April 13th. Residents of Georgia who violate this Shelter in Place order will be found guilty of a misdemeanor.

The order calls for residents to take "every possible precaution to limit social interaction" in order to flatten the curve of COVID-19.
