Atlanta Mayor Places City on 14-Day Stay-At-Home Order Due to Coronavirus

Atlanta's Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms signed an executive order late Monday night for a 14 day Stay-At-Home period for the City of Atlanta.

This order is to help curb the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19 by keeping people away from each other at non-essential functions. This mandate states that residents of Atlanta should stay inside their homes for the next 14 days.

There are however exceptions to the rule. Essential city services and businesses, grocery stores, gas stations, pharmacies, laundromats, parks and restaurants severing take out are all exempt from this order.

This order is expected to last until April 7th.
