A Georgia Teen Strangled Sister Over Wifi Password

A teen from Macon has been sentenced to life in prison after killing his older sister during an argument over the Wifi password.

Kevon Watkins, 18, was found guilty on Friday of strangling his sister, Alexus Watkins, back in February of 2018.

According to a news release from the Macon District Attorney's office, Kevon changed the wifi password so he could play video games uninterrupted by other people on the network. Kevon and his mom started arguing over the changed password. After fearing that Kevon and her Mom were gonna get into a physical fight Alexus came to her defense.

That's when Kevon started choking his sister holding her neck for over 15 minutes. Body camera footage showed Kevon still strangling his sister nearly 10 minutes after the 911 call was made when police arrived at the home.
