Beltline Scooter Riders Knock Down Pregnant Woman

A local woman was casually taking a stroll down the Beltline, one of Atlanta's most popular destinations for a summer stroll, and says that she was in shock at what happened next. The woman, Lauren Sorrell, said that a scooter lost control and crashed into her. Another rider who was with the person who knocked her down told her that "she wasn't hurt" and to "get up". Sorrell sustained a broken elbow and her baby is fine thankfully!

Sorrell definitely believes that scooters on the Beltline should have a separate lane or they should be banned altogether. The use of pay scooters in major cities is definitely a hot topic with many different stakeholders and opinions. What do you think? Does she have a point?
