21-year-old Accused of Killing Man Who Tried to Flee Hit and Run

 

Hannah Payne witnessed a man hit her car and then watched the car take off. She proceeded to follow the man and blocked his car off with hers at the intersection. According to witnesses, Payne confronted and punched the victim, while telling him to exit his car. Witnesses were shocked at what happened next. Payne shot and killed the victim, called the police and told them the victim pulled the trigger. She then changed clothes while waiting for police.

Payne is facing a charge of murder without malice. Her lawyer maintains that she is a good Samaritan who simply tried to stop someone from committing a hit and run.
